Local firm of accountants Clark Howes Group is celebrating having been shortlisted for both the ‘Service Excellence’ and ‘Training & Development’ awards at the upcoming Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Buckinghamshire Business Awards 2013.

Managing director Tim Shaw commented: "We are delighted to be shortlisted for these prestigious awards. We believe that by putting the satisfaction of our clients and the interests of our employees at the centre of our business strategy, we are able to deliver an excellent service that doesn’t just meet but also exceeds our clients’ expectations. These nominations are a testament to how good the team is at what they do."

It has been a busy year for the firm, with success at the Cherwell Business Awards back in April as winners of the ‘The Oxford & Cherwell Valley College Recruitment, Training & Staff Care’ award, and also a changeover in management with Shaw and Tony Sarin (chairman) taking a controlling stake in the business in June.

Shaw added: "This is an incredibly exciting time for Clark Howes Group’s development and to be recognised for our commitment to both our clients and our staff is fantastic."

Winners will be announced at a ceremony taking place later this year.
