Southampton-based Snows has acquired single-site Hamble Motors, of Southampton too, creating its sixth Peugeot dealership and making it one of the largest partners of Peugeot in the country.

Hamble Motors in Bursledon Road, Southampton, was established in 1954 and offers the full Peugeot new vehicle range, used vehicles, technicians, and parts. In addition, the site is a fleet specialist and a fully authorised Motability provider.

Snows bought the company for an undisclosed sum and staff have already moved over to the Snows business.

Neil McCue, chief operating officer for Snows, said: “We are very excited to take on this great business and warmly welcome Hamble Motors staff to Snows.

Family-owned Snows employs more than 937 staff and represents 18 manufacturer brands across 50 franchised dealerships, three Approved Service Centres, 12 multi-franchise used car centres and a specialist accident repair centre.
