James Cowper Kreston's corporate finance team has advised Reading-based PowerPax UK on its acquisition by Stadium Group plc.

PowerPax UK, a well-known distributer of electrical goods, including DC-DC converters and power supplies, has  been acquired by Stadium Group, a leading global supplier of integrated design-led technologies. PowerPax is well-established in the Reading area, having been in operation since 2000, and has many years of expertise in its sector.

Stadium Group  will be assimilating PowerPax into its existing technology division, Stadium Stontronics.

Nick Rogers, corporate finance partner and Ian Robinson, corporate finance manager at James Cowper Kreston, provided advice to the shareholders of PowerPax during the acquisition.

Lee Allen, managing director of PowerPax, said: “Nick and the team at James Cowper Kreston provided experience and professionalism to guide us through the process to complete the transaction. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others.”

Rogers said: We are very pleased to have provided assistance to the shareholders of PowerPax. We believe that Stadium is a great home for the business to continue its impressive growth and wish them every success in the future.”
