Recent surveys show Reading is the fastest-growing conurbation in the country, with growth levels that may even exceed London over the next five years. Although not strictly a ‘city’, Reading is outstripping the likes of Birmingham and Manchester for growth.

  • Reading to grow faster than anywhere else in the UK, predicts EY forecast
  • Reading is a top location for business growth, says LSH report
  • Reading is UK’s most successful economic city, finds PwC
  • Reading is most prosperous city in the UK outside London, finds Barclays survey.

To mark Reading’s elevation to No 1 spot, examine what constitutes its reaching this position, and to promote all the virtues of being in business in the greater Reading area, The Business Magazine plans a major Special Edition in June 2016.

Easy to read content will highlight and investigate new developments, redevelopments and innovative projects including:

  • Crossrail
  • Reading Science Park
  • 20.5-acre Reading Gateway site
  • Station Hill redevelopment
  • Homes and leisure development at Madejski Stadium
  • Further Winnersh Triangle domestic and commercial sites
  • South of the M4 strategy for development
  • Foreign investment into the Thames Valley
  • Arts organisations and projects in the light of 2016 Reading Year of Culture.

This publication, which will be a minimum of 16 pages, will be read by tens of thousands of company directors, business owners, professionals and support agencies throughout the region.

It will be available in print, in digital format, promoted by newsletter and social media, and will also be made available as source material for your website and/or hard copies for future promotions.
