Boyes Turner has appointed Jonathan Grigg as a partner and leader of its dispute-resolution team. He was a partner in the Southampton office of Shoosmiths and specialises in UK and international commercial litigation, and arbitration, particularly in commercial-contract and negligence disputes. He is also a pensions litigation specialist and an accredited mediator.
He is top ranked as one of the south’s leading litigators by Chambers Guide to the UK Legal Profession and is recommended in The UK Legal 500. The former comments: “The excellent Jonathan Grigg has a superb reputation in the market, with sources mentioning that he has a good legal brain but is also really commercial. He often acts in multi-million pound contractual and professional - negligence claims.”
Andrew Chalkley, Boyes Turner’s CEO, said: “He will add a pensions litigation capability to our existing specialist-property, construction, IT and product-liability litigation services.”
