On October 9, Blandy & Blandy Solicitors will be hosting an interactive, half-day seminar at the Town Hall in Reading, entitled: 'Creating a Dynamic Workforce'.
"To create a dynamic, efficient workforce, employers must embrace change, seize opportunities and minimise challenges," says Blandy.
Members of the firm's employment law team - Sue Dowling, Tim Clark, Sukhpal Matharoo, Laura Binnie, Rebecca Hill and Shaun Hogan - will explore how employers can maximise the opportunities arising from the ever-changing world of employment law.
The seminar will take delegates through the recent legal changes highlighting what a business can do, in practice, to get the best from its employees. It will look at issues surrounding: creating the right employment framework, dynamic performance and absence management, and working practices which maximise return.
While opportunities undoubtedly exist for employers, compliance requirements are also on the increase and employers cannot afford to be complacent. Business owners are better placed to protect their businesses, and the seminar will take delegates through some new areas of compliance, including: employers’ duties relating to pension auto-enrolment, redundancy and TUPE changes, and the impact of the latest employment case law.
'Creating a Dynamic Workforce' takes place from 9am to 1pm, after registration and a light breakfast at 8.15am.
On conclusion of the main seminar, delegates are offered the opportunity of a 30-minute free, confidential consultation with an employment lawyer (to be requested on registering).
Reservations can be made through Nina Folkes, email: events@blandy.co.uk or call: 0118-9516816.
