Over 100 businesses came together in Cheltenham for a lunchtime networking event, organized by Sterling Networks recently.

The BIG Business Lunch grows on the popularity of the existing BIG business breakfast events hosted by the networking organization, bringing together 100+ businesses – many of whom had never been to a Sterling event before, but received the same warm welcome as every one of the 15 existing networking groups.

The lunchtime event took place at Jury’s Inn, Cheltenham, where attendees were treated to a seasonal feast to tuck into whilst they enjoyed the conversations and making connections.

Social media was alight with talk of the event afterwards, with many describing the event as “Amazing” “Awesome” “Buzzing” and “Brilliant”.

Whilst the big lunch was open to all – members and non-members alike, the quiz that followed was a members only affair, with teams from the existing Sterling networking groups competing against each other for a coveted trophy.

It was declared a brilliant way to end the week and many of the conversations continued on after the event had finished.

The quiz also raised £1000 for Sterling’s charity of the year, MS Society – so a huge success all round, and it’s been decided to make this an annual event.
