Workspace design firm Kerr Office Group has experienced its greatest period of growth a year on from appointing Alex Kerr as CEO.

The Swindon-based firm has over 30 years of industry experience. Their clients span the breadth of the UK, including Vectura, Bechtle, Grant, and Dyson.

The business has been successful in growing 30 per cent year-on-year under Alex’s leadership.

Alex Kerr joined his father’s business in 2007 as a project manager, dedicating himself to the business and later securing a place on the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business programme, designed to provide high-quality, practical education and business support to leaders of high-growth small businesses across the country.

He was promoted to COO in 2020, then to CEO last year where he has dedicated his energy to growing the business.

Despite challenging economic circumstances globally, Alex’s customer-centric approach to running the business has meant that many new and existing clients have had the confidence to appoint Kerr Office Group to deliver a number of exciting new workspace design and build projects across the South West including Bristol and Thame, Oxfordshire.

“It’s been a pleasure to see Kerr go from strength to strength during my time with the company," said Alex.

“Kerr was built as a family-led business, and the importance of relationships has been instilled within the company and its people.

“A key focus for Kerr in the next three to five years is a focus on sustainability. We plan to be carbon neutral in the very near future, and I think it’s important we also help our clients instil these practices."
