Kent's Emberton Industries says new hotel ironing product is a 'game-changer'
Kent-based Emberton Industries, which provides electrical products to hotels, has unveiled its latest offering - a steam and dry iron, which does not need an ironing board.
The New Romney-based company, whose goal is to become the most esteemed producer of guest-room electrical appliances globally, said that its Ampthill Hotel Safety 2 in 1 Steamer and Iron was a "game-changer".

A company spokesperson said: "The Emberton Philosophy is to create the best possible products for guests and for staff, we don’t design for the hotel industry.
"We design with them. From initial design to final testing, we submit our products to a panel of experienced hotel and hospitality professionals.
"Offering the lessons of decades in the industry, this panel ensures every last detail of every Emberton product is interrogated and questioned to deliver optimum performance."
The company said the 1950W iron featured a steam rate of 20 to 30 grams per minute, a safety auto shut-off after five minutes and vertical and horizontal steam and dry ironing.
On its company website, Emberton said it was established in London in the 1980s as a supplier of products to British hotels.
Building on success in Europe, it expanded across Asia and the Middle East in the 1990s and is now an international group.
