Big Motoring World has acquired two new sites as it eyes an increase in turnover.

The two new locations in England are in Leeds and Cannock and are in addition to its recent expansion into a new site in Wimbledon. It means the group now has eight locations.

The company plans to grow further and recently bought a new HQ in Kent support expansion as it prepares to launch a car-loan service and an auction platform and manage its expanding dealership network.

In August, the company announced its financial results for 2022. Its turnover increased by 43% from £371 million in 2021 to £529.7 million ($674.1 million U.S.). Pre-tax profit increased by 65%, from £6.6 million to £10.9 million. The business sold 27,361 used cars.

“The news today highlights the next milestone in our nationwide expansion,” said Big Motoring World founder and CEO Peter Waddell. “We have a well-proven omnichannel technology-first business model that’s proved to be sustainable even in tough trading conditions, evidenced by our latest accounts.”
