The company plans to grow further and recently bought a new HQ in Kent support expansion as it prepares to launch a car-loan service and an auction platform and manage its expanding dealership network.
In August, the company announced its financial results for 2022. Its turnover increased by 43% from £371 million in 2021 to £529.7 million ($674.1 million U.S.). Pre-tax profit increased by 65%, from £6.6 million to £10.9 million. The business sold 27,361 used cars.
“The news today highlights the next milestone in our nationwide expansion,” said Big Motoring World founder and CEO Peter Waddell. “We have a well-proven omnichannel technology-first business model that’s proved to be sustainable even in tough trading conditions, evidenced by our latest accounts.”
