Mobile phone accessories manufacturer, juice®, has been shortlisted in the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award category at the 2021 Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) for the South East region.

This is exciting news for the fast-growing and dynamic brand which was named the UK market leader in both Apple Lightning and Type C cable sales earlier this year – according to the latest update (January 2021) from market research institute, Growth from Knowledge (GfK).

Initially, launched in 2012 as a platform to celebrate and champion the individuals behind brilliant UK business, the founders behind the Great British Entrepreneur Awards believe that entrepreneurs are as much about their story as they are their balance sheet.

Now, the awards are just one small part of the organisation which describes itself as a 'growing community and thriving ecosystem' which provides ongoing support and opportunities for winners and finalists all year round, allowing them to connect and showcase their business to stand out from the crowd.

CEO of juice® and ambitious entrepreneur, Jolyon Bennett (pictured), commented: "Despite the circumstances, 2021 has been one of our biggest and most successful years to date (so far). juice® has achieved so much over the last six months, including becoming the UK’s market leader in the manufacture and supply of mobile phone accessories, and we couldn’t be prouder.

"To be shortlisted for this award and hand-picked from almost 5,000 entries across eight regions still feels surreal – we’re keeping our fingers tightly crossed for the finalist’s announcement in September. We look forward to the awards ceremony (which we hope will be in the flesh this year) as well as what the rest of 2021 will bring – watch this space."

After taking place virtually last year due to the global pandemic, organisers of the 2021 Great British Entrepreneur Awards intend to host the regional finals in person in September this year, however, this is yet to be confirmed.

This award shortlisting is yet another accomplishment for juice®, with the last few months proving extremely successful for the Banbury-based firm. In April, juice® was shortlisted in the Accessory Manufacturer of the Year’ category at this year’s Mobile Industry Awards (MIAs), and more recently, the popular juice® Max (Power Bank 7) received the Which? Best Buy accolade, with a test score of 81%.
