juice continues to dominate mobile phone accessories market, according to GfK data
Latest data showed that juice - the Banbury-based phone accessories manufacturer - has held its position as market leader in the UK for the third year in a row.
The data from consumer analytics provider Growth from Knowledge (GfK) shows the company now boasts almost 10% more of the charger market than it did in 2022 and holds 57.5% of the market share for Lightning cables– making it the second most popular brand after Apple.

"2023 has been somewhat hectic, but it’s also been one of the most exciting years we’ve ever experienced as a business," said Jolyon Bennett, the firm's founder and CEO.
"Everything we’ve done over the last 12 months has been for the consumer – from continuing to push our fully recycled/recyclable products to keeping our prices exactly the same due to the cost-of-living crisis.
We strongly believe in ‘doing the right thing’ and this is a mantra we promise to continue to live by!
"We feel honoured to be up there with some of the major players in the industry, but to hold on to our market leading position for the third year in a row proves that we are going above and beyond to keep our customers coming back for more."
Bennett added that the company had a "number of exciting announcements" to make over coming months and into 2024.
The August 2023 'market update' by GfK also showed the company was having its best year yet when it comes to chargers - with over 11% market share in both volume and value.
In power banks, there was 9% increase in volume and 7.9% increase in value compared to last year, with a 60% increase in the specific Magtec power bank market.
New product development (NPD) has been a focus in the second half, with the firm launching a limited-edition multi-coloured version of its most popular Power Bank for Pride month in June and an energy-saving ‘Smart Plug’ designed to help consumers reduce their energy bills.
Juice also launched an affordable collection of wireless headphones available in a range of quirky pastel colours.
Among upcoming product launches is a new and improved audio range and an eco-conscious collection of tech accessories in partnership with a well-known charity, the company said.
