Horsham-based business technology provider Global 4 has established its presence in the north of England with the acquisition of Cumbria-based Gemini.

The deal will also expand the West-Sussex based firm's portfolio of products, it said, which already includes IT services, hosted telephony, data connectivity, and security, and sets it on a "significant growth path" into 2024.

"We are thrilled to welcome Gemini into the Global 4 family," said Carl Barnett, the CEO at Global 4.

"This acquisition aligns with our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation, and we are confident that the synergies between our organisations will result in even greater value for our clients.

"The geography of Gemini allows us to establish a northern presence supporting our ongoing growth nationwide," he added.

David Labram, the managing director of Gemini, said: "We are delighted to be working with Carl and the team at Global 4.

"The natural alignment of company values and our shared vision to grow fast, provides a great opportunity for both businesses."

Global 4 was recently awarded 'Reseller of the Year' at this year's Comms National Awards.

Gemini Communications was established in 1999 and provides business equipment and technology. Since 2012, it has offered additional services such as CCTV and photocopiers.
