Hampshire’s Serco acquires European immigration services firm in £39m deal
Serco, the Hook-based governmental services provider, has acquired ORS, a Swiss-based provider of immigration services in several European countries, for £39 million.
The acquisition brings ORS’s 30 years’ experience in the asylum and immigration process, which covers every step from initial country reception to orientation, care, community integration and repatriation, under Serco’s umbrella.
ORS’s 2,000 employees will add scale, reach and capability to Serco’s European operations. The firm reported a revenue for the year ending 31 December 2021 of £97 million.
