Hall & Woodhouse introduce discount card for emergency service workers

Hall & Woodhouse introduce Blue Light Card discounts for NHS and emergency workers.

Family brewer Hall & Woodhouse will now be offering a Blue Light Card discount of 15 percent in all its pubs and establishments that serve food. 

The 35 pubs offering the discount are spread throughout Hampshire. The list includes: The Jolly Sailor, The Plough, Osborne View and The Talisman. 

The company relationships manager at Hall & Woodhouse, Lucinda Gray, stated that the discount is a thank you gesture to essential workers who helped the local communities through the pandemic.

Gray said: ‘The last few years have been difficult for everyone, and our emergency services have done extraordinary work to keep us all safe.

‘Introducing a blue light card discount to all our managed houses is a small way to give back to all of the incredibly selfless people that have worked so hard during such a challenging time.’

The Blue Light Card is one of the UK’s largest discount services for the emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces.

The 15 percent discount is available seven days a week to Blue Light Card holders if the order includes a main meal, sandwich or a slice of cake and a hot drink.

Gray said: ‘Hall & Woodhouse is always looking for ways to further enrich the communities it serves.

‘With nearly 500,000 blue light card members across our trading area, this presented us with the perfect opportunity to give back to these extremely valued members of our community.’
