"We are thrilled to have Starbucks on board. They will make a great addition to the amenity offer in this location and I am confident it will be a great success," said John Fisher, the group MD at T A Fisher.
Shepherds Hill is a growing retail hub with an M & S food hall, a gym, bakery, dry cleaner and a BP / M & S petrol filling station amongst a wide range of other offers and if approved, the scheme is said to "deliver significant economic benefits" in a "highly sustainable location".
A total of 46 car parking spaces are planned to serve the enlarged scheme, including four new disabled spaces and two electric vehicle (EV) charging bays.
The proposed use will also have wider social benefits, such as a meeting point for local people and for informal business meetings.
