Gloucester business park cleaned up in charity litter pick
St Modwen Business Park in Gloucester has been spruced up by a charity litter pick by 19 employees from kitchenware brand ProCook and footwear and workwear distributor Gardiner Bro & Co - companies based on the site.
The event was run by charity Life's a Beach, which was established by ProCook founder and CEO Daniel O’Neill, and which supports the eradication of single use plastics from British beaches and promotes reusable products.
The team collected 12.52kg of litter from the business park, adding to the charity's total this year of 540.77kg.
This year alone, ProCook has volunteered 440 staff hours and collected 133.8kgs of waste with Life's a Beach. It was Gardiner Bros & Co's first clean up with the charity.
