The 20th annual conference of the Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) could be the most important yet – coming just weeks after the UK is expected to have left the EU.

Speakers from Rolls-Royce, GE Aviation, Gulf Stream, Saffran Helicopters and other leading businesses will address delegates at the day-long event on November 21.

Interested parties can book into the conference which is being held at The Elvetham Hotel, Hartley Wintney, in Hampshire.

For more than two decades the FAC has represented businesses in the aerospace sector and those in its supply chain.

The FAC has members from across the world, most are from the south and east – the centre of the UK’s aerospace industry.

This year’s conference is preceded the evening before with a dinner and opportunities for networking.

FAC’s chief executive, David Barnes, said: “Our conference has become a fixture in the aerospace calendar and this year’s could be the most important yet.

“Speakers will cover a variety of subjects, but the Brexit situation will of course be on everybody’s minds.

“We represent the interests of hundreds of businesses of all sizes and our conferences are always of great value.

“The sharing of opinions and experience can prove to be a real benefit for those in the aerospace industry or its supply chain.

“Another constant theme of our conferences is optimism. Businesses are always able to see solutions to problems and we help them in that endeavour.

“The evening before the conference we have a dinner at the same venue and I’m sure plenty of business will be done.

“Anyone can book in through our website, whether they are members or not, but numbers are limited.”

Farnborough Aerospace Consortium (FAC) is one of the longest established aerospace and defence trade associations in the UK.

It has circa 200 members nationally and internationally to serve its membership in the south and south east of England, the heart of UK aerospace.
