Halesowen-based communications and telephony company EBC Group has announced that it is the official sponsor of Worcester Warriors new Fan Zone at Sixways, Worcester.

The newly-developed EBC Fanzone, located behind the North Stand, will help boost the matchday experience for supporters.

The deal continues the partnership between the two, with EBC Group already the club’s official IT provider, as well as being shirt sponsor and sponsor of the Warriors’ VIP hospitality suite, the EBC XV Club.

The EBC Fanzone includes bars and stalls selling a range of food including speciality vegan dishes, pulled pork and menus that will match the themed matchdays throughout the season. There will also be a range of entertainment, including pre and post-match music, as well as a Kids Zone to keep the little ones entertained.

“We are delighted that our Fanzone will now be known as the EBC Fanzone,” said Warriors Managing Director Peter Kelly.

“We have a long and happy relationship with EBC Group who are one of our valued customers and we thank them for extending their sponsorship to the Fanzone.

“The new Fanzone has been a huge success with supporters this season but we are always looking at ways to enhance the matchday experience for supporters.”

In addition to the EBC Fanzone, Warriors has also installed new floodlights, two big screens and a new PA system for this season.

Worcester Warriors has been working with EBC Group on technology improvements including secure, reliable Wi-Fi, which is seen as key for boosting fan engagement.
