Dorset sports nutrition brand partners with Tour de France team
Precision Fuel & Hydration (PF&H), a Dorset-based sports nutrition brand, has teamed up with professional cycling team Lotto Dstny.
The partnership will see PF&H developing bespoke fuelling and hydration strategies for the team, which competes in major cycling events such as the Tour de France.
Along with providing fuelling and hydration products during the 2023 season, the Christchurch-based firm will provide its patented sweat test technology to analyse each rider’s sweat rate and content to identify their particular hydration needs.
Former elite endurance athlete and renowned sports scientist Andy Blow, who leads PF&H, said:
"We're really excited to be working with Lotto Dstny and have been extremely impressed so far with the team's attention to detail and their dedication to perfecting their fuelling and hydration strategies so that they can perform at their best when it counts."

The partnership was driven by Victor Campenaerts, Lotto Dstny’s start rider, who introduced PF&H to the team after he started using the brand’s products.
Lotto Dstny head nutritionist Gino Devriendt said: “As nutritionists, we are very happy to have Precision Fuel & Hydration on board.
“PF&H’s science-based products will help our riders during their races and training rides. The drinks, energy gels, chews and electrolyte tablets are all easily absorbed by the body.
“But the most important to us, are the possibilities to personalise our riders’ nutrition. They are willing to listen and adapt to our input, together with the specialists of the University of Ghent. We will all benefit from this collaboration.”
