Dorset’s biggest private landlord has appointed Harvard Window Cleaning as its preferred partner for keeping its property facias clean and tidy.

DWP Housing Partnership has approximately 3,000 units and Harvard will be cleaning the newer builds and taller properties.

Luke Rayner, who founded the window cleaning business 10 years ago, now has a team of seven.

It is the latest contract win for the company that built its name in the millionaires’ row of Sandbanks specialising in high-end properties with lots of glass.

Steve Wells from DWP Housing Partnership said: “We traditionally have tried to keep in-house most of our maintenance and outside cleaning. But our housing stock in the Bournemouth-Poole conurbation has grown in recent years and we needed a partner that we could depend on to do a good job. Luke and his team have been cleaning the windows of some of our properties for a while and did such a good job we wanted to make the partnership official. Harvard will be cleaning windows of our newer builds and the higher ones, as well as looking after the facias.”

Rayner said: “We’ve built our name on quality and only use purified water that has been highly filtered. I train all our staff and because I’ve concentrated on providing a quality service the business has grown. Being the preferred cleaner for Dorset’s biggest landlord is a real coup for us as we continue to grow.”
