Clarkson Evans wins major award at National Housebuilder Awards
New-build house wiring specialists Clarkson Evans have scooped the prestigious Sub Contractor of the Year trophy at one of the construction industry’s biggest events, the National Housebuilder Awards.
The Judges singled out Clarkson Evans from among some of the most established businesses in the sector for their entry, ‘The Customer is King’. This showcased the lengths that the company will go to in order to remain the electrical contractor of choice for all the major national house builders.
Managing Director, Nathan Evans said: ‘While it was great to be recognised by our peers when we were awarded the Electrical Contractor of the Year by the ECA earlier this year, this award is particularly special to us because it’s judged by those whose opinion we care about most - our customers. We are so proud to have won and it’s the icing on the cake for what’s been another record-breaking year.’
Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical contractor serving the new-build housing sector, having wired around 25,000 properties this year. Headquartered in Gloucester and with 21 branches nationwide, the company directly employs nearly 1000 staff (not subcontractors) and trains significant numbers of apprentices.
“We’re proud of what we do but we don’t take anything for granted and such national recognition means a lot to us,” added Nathan.
