Clarke Willmott unveils latest swathe of trainee solicitors
The enrolment of one of the largest batches of trainee solicitors in law firm Clarke Willmott's history looks set to cap off the company's most financially successful year to date.
The twelve traineeships seem to be proof of Clarke Willmott's success and their growth objectives. And why wouldn't they look to expand? The company just announced growth of 12% over the prior year.
The trainees have all just undertaken The Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). It's a qualification which seeks to increase diversity and offer up new pathways for people to enter the profession and has proven to present a good opportunity for Clarke Willmott - and many other law firms.
The following trainee solicitors will work in the Southampton office:
- Joe Wheeler
- Krishnan Pillay
- Megan Rusca
- Laura Sullivan
HR Director Daniel Jones had this to say about the traineeships: “Clarke Willmott grows and develops its own talent, recruiting trainees exclusively from the non-qualified fee earners already working for us.”
“This demonstrates our commitment to building the careers of our own staff and gives us the opportunity to help shape the lawyers of tomorrow – both in terms of legal skills and also the broader human skills to deliver excellent service for our clients," he added.
“The new trainees recently underwent an in-person induction at our Bristol office to share the new programme, to provide some training and development and the chance to network with each other."
