Cirencester tech company Gbics launches direct channel partner program
Cirencester-based computer tech firm Gbics revealed it has launched its own direct channel partner program called Gbics Connect.
The new in-house service means IT resellers and service providers to purchase directly from the company, removing any need for third party distribution companies.
All deal registration, pre-sales support and logistics services are handled in-house.

Gbics director James Burgess said the model was a way of "incentivising our partners while keeping costs down for all".
"An ever-increasing part of our business goes through partners who resell our products, this allows them to come directly to us bypassing traditional third-party distributors.
"This eradicates slow distribution as we can offer same day delivery, express and international shipping," he added.
"This covers comprehensive product portfolio, including transceiver stock. The new partner portal and bespoke product catalogue make this unique to our industry. We do not know anyone else who can offer this direct service and support."
Gbics, which was established in 2013, said it had set up GBICS Connect to support every type of partner, from value added resellers, and managed service providers to cloud builders and telcos.
