Cirencester-based Trust Systems is on track to nearly double its turnover by the end of 2019, helping the company invest in recruitment and people development. The company says its growth has come about thanks to its innovative, digital technology being delivered to large high street retailers and enterprise sized businesses.

Mike Dowson, Commercial Director, Trust Systems, said: ‘We have evolved from a reseller to a managed service provider. This change has been an important part of our strategy to add value to our customers to create longevity in our partnerships and therefore predictable revenue, which enables us to invest in our people.’

Trust Systems customer list includes major brands such as Aldi, HMV, Waterstones, Mid-counties Co-op, National Express.

Most recently the company has completed a roll-out to health food shop leader Holland & Barrett, which has its headquarters in Worcestershire.

Mike added: ‘We successfully rolled out a mobile stock management system across their 800 UK & Ireland stores and work is underway to rollout across Europe to a further 279 stores. The rollout has been a huge success with resounding positive feedback from the customer.

‘Trust has evolved to provide digital consultancy, managed services and technology in order to focus on helping our customers make the most of the opportunity technology provides.’

Tom Stone, Technical Director explains how investing in people has been vital to enable the companies success and growth, ‘Our commitment to recruitment and developing our team is clearly demonstrated with 10% of our current workforce being from the Apprenticeship Scheme. We offer young people a real job with hands on experience to provide a chance to be trained and fully competent in their chosen career. We are proud of our commitment and to say many of our Apprentices are now in senior roles in the business is a true testament to our pledge to creating career paths for our team. This not only benefits the individual, but we are also about nurturing talent to ensure we deliver the most innovative and business benefit driven solutions.’
