Bournemouth-based Diamond Logistics has made the cut as one of the UK’s brightest new businesses.

The company has been shortlist for the 12th annual Startups Awards which recognise the success of Britain’s newest businesses (which have been trading for four years or less).

Diamond Logistics is one of six finalists in the Franchisee of the Year category – one of the most hotly-contested categories this year. However, the company is also hoping to be named People’s Champion, an award voted for by the general public.

Courier and logistics specialist Hon Leung joined Diamond Logistics earlier this year and, since then the revenue has grown to six figures. Leung currently plans to purchase a second territory in Dorset.

David Lester, founder of Startups.co.uk, commented: “Congratulations to Diamond Logistics on being named a finalist at the Startups Awards 2015 – that is no mean feat!

“The start-up talent in the UK at the moment is of exceptionally high quality. I am proud that the Startups Awards gives these outstanding businesses a platform to grow from, and I look forward to celebrating their successes in November.”

Diamond Logistics is joined by finalists from across the country, all of whom are hoping to take home a Startup Award when the winners are announced on November 27.
