A European aviation expert; the national policy director for Britain’s leading business network; and a top Internet services boss - Hampshire Chamber of Commerce has confirmed this trio of prestigious speakers for its annual 'Talking Business' conference. The November event will feature insight and analysis of the economy from Dr Adam Marshall, director of Policy and External Affairs at the British Chambers of Commerce. Marshall represents the interests of more than 100,000 member businesses in his dealings with Whitehall, Westminster and the media.

Also speaking is Carl Churchill, managing director of online payment service provider NetPay Group. Renowned as an innovator in Internet services, Churchill has been projected by the Sunday Times Rich List to generate a net worth of £100 million by 2020.

Joining them is Judith Moreton, an award-winning adviser on the international aviation business following a 20-year career in aircraft operations and management. She holds the European Business Aviation Award for her outstanding contribution to the sector and is the founder of Little Blue Private Jets, a consultancy providing aircraft purchase and charter services.

As well as the presentations, Talking Business will include an exhibition, networking opportunities and an expert panel who will debate topical issues such as the latest thinking on business practices and government initiatives to drive growth.

The compère for the day is Geoff French, chairman of the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership. A civil engineer, French is president of the International Federation of Consulting Engineers and senior vice president of the Institution of Civil Engineers.

For the third year running, the conference has been sponsored by law firm Clarke Willmott.

Maureen Frost, deputy chief executive of Hampshire Chamber, said: “We have three highly-acclaimed speakers to inspire and motivate the conference. Our panel of industry experts will then help our audience explore even more business matters and gain professional advice. Alongside, there is a fantastic opportunity to network and forge new business contacts while visiting our exhibition. It promises to be a fascinating day and we are delighted that Clarke Willmott has confirmed its support as headline sponsor once again.”

The conference takes place at Basingstoke Country Hotel on November 11, from 8.30am to 2.30pm.
