Basingstoke gymnastics club receives £1,500 donation from Hampshire developer
Basingstoke Gymnastics Club has received £1,500 from David Wilson Homes Southern, which will allow the charity to source new mats.
The donation is part of The Barratt Foundation, designed to support national and local charities, large and small, across the UK to leave a legacy in the communities in which the housebuilder operates.

Karen Holmes, finance and admin manager at Basingstoke Gymnastics Club, said: "When I had the email to say we had been chosen to receive the donation, it was received very gratefully and was also a great surprise.
"Being a charity, any donations we receive mean so much to us as we can keep the club safe and exciting for our customers."
The club offers a variety of fun and inclusive classes to cater for all ages, needs and abilities
It offers a range of apparatus, including a huge soft floor area, an aerobic sprung floor, three tracks, asymmetric, parallel and high bars, rings, a vault area, two sunken trampolines with a large pit area.
