Expansion in 2016 led us to rebrand as the ‘Peter Cooper Motor Group, Cars of All Makes’, showcasing all parts of our business more effectively. It was important to reflect that we were no longer representing just the Volkswagen brand with our four Volkswagen retailers, but a company that could cater for all of our customer’s needs, irrelevant of the make of car they were looking at.

With new divisions now within the Group, we had to change our message to cover our broader offering in the market. That message is still a priority today. Volkswagen retail sales will always be a significant part of our business and accounts for over 70% of group turnover, but we have diversified into new areas. We’ll never stand still in business and get left behind by the competition; our aim is to be seen as trail blazers, keen to embrace the times ahead and new technologies.

Our aim is to be the number one choice for your vehicle needs, ‘From your first car, to your dream car!’

Our five Volkswagen and SsangYong showrooms specialise in their own brands. Our Leasing business and also our three Prestige Cars showrooms specialise in supplying cars of all makes and models, both new and used. Each Prestige Cars site has one of our very own independent service centres as well, competing against the independents and the likes of Kwik-Fit/Halfords.

Our PCR (Peter Cooper Racing) company caters for all sorts of exciting modifications and customisations for the aftermarket. This again caters for all makes, from Ford to Ferrari! Engine tuning, remaps, brake/exhaust/suspension and alloy wheel upgrades, vehicle wrapping and detailing are all services we offer.

We have also just launched myEVCP.co.uk (my electric vehicle charging points), which caters for the needs of single private users, or larger companies or developers who may need multiple charging points installed.

So, our customer offering has broadened hugely over the last five years and we are delighted to be able to extend our reputation across all makes of vehicle, not just to our Volkswagen customers.

Our growing Prestige Cars and also Peter Cooper Leasing brands source vehicles of all makes and people always feel reassured that they are dealing with a company that has over 40 years heritage, built on solid foundations around customer service, reputation, and trust.

We are also aware that the vehicle ownership model is changing, so we have also embarked on setting up Volkswagen Rental vehicles, providing competitive daily rentals across the popular Volkswagen range of passenger cars.

For those unfortunate enough to have a road accident, don’t forget our award-winning body repair centre. This repair centre caters for all makes of car and is fully approved by a number of franchises and large insurance companies.

So, our reputation has been forged over many years alongside one of the most recognised brands in the world, Volkswagen. However, our message is changing across the south coast, and we are now much, much more. Visit www.petercoopergroup.co.uk and see how we can look after your vehicle needs moving forwards. The Peter Cooper Motor Group, ‘From your first car to your dream car’.
