The UK's poshest farm shop will celebrate its landmark 20th anniversary with a two-day Harvest Festival on Saturday 17th - Sunday 18th September. A Daylesford Organic tradition, the Harvest Festival allows visitors to go behind the scenes at one of the UK’s most sustainable farms while enjoyin organic food and drink and seasonal activities. This year will be the first time the event is spread over two days, offering the perfect opportunity for locals and those visiting from afar to immerse themselves in all Daylesford Farm has to offer.

Animal lovers can meet and learn more about the farm's rare and heritage breeds as well as the local wildlife and bees. The much-loved dog shows will return and guests can get hands-on with expert-hosted floristry and craft workshops, or take part in our Harvest competition tent to win rosettes and prizes.

Guest producers and artisans from Daylesford’s own Bakery, Patisserie, Creamery and Fermentary will be showcasing fine food & drink and offering tastings, while the Cookery School at Daylesford is planning a weekend of live demonstrations.

The Market Garden will be transformed with fun activities, games, rides, and performers for all ages. Guests can relax on long banquet tables, feast on delicious food from the Daylesford Fire Pits and barbecues and watch cookery demonstrations from guest chefs. Refreshments will be available at the Harvest Festival Bar including Daylesford’s own festival cider, craft beers and organic wines from Chateau Léoube. Visitors may also like to head over to The Wild Rabbit, Daylesford’s award-winning modern British inn located in nearby Kingham, or to The Fox at Oddington, a village pub with rooms, a welcoming bar and seasonal food celebrating local producers.

Those looking for some time to unwind can head over to the Bamford Wellness Spa and Heritage Orchard for holistic activities, relaxing workshops and wellbeing talks. The Bamford Barn will be hosting special exhibitions as part of the two-day Harvest Festival.

To mark the 20th anniversary since the first iconic Daylesford farmshop opened in Kingham, there will be a host of brand-new workshops, special guests, events and surprises for visitors. Perfect for families, groups of friends, food and nature lovers, or simply for those looking for a weekend escape, the Harvest Festival will be an ideal way to celebrate the bounty of the golden autumn season.

The seed that grew into Daylesford was sown over forty years ago when Carole Bamford recognised the importance and benefits of organic farming. What began as a simple passion for real food and a desire to feed our children better has grown into Daylesford Organic as we know it today, one of the most sustainable farms and food retailers in the UK. A year after opening, Daylesford began making and sourcing household goods and homewares, a range that now encompasses a dedicated garden space and plant nursery.
