What are your sustainable tech credentials?

The way we do business is changing.

Business leaders must now take into account their environmental, social and governance responsibilities as well as their financial responsibilities to shareholders.

Sustainable technology is no longer switching to low energy LED lighting in the office. Modern firms must be cognisant of the effect each aspect of their business has on the environment.

ESG is a vital business consideration. As such the Thames Valley Tech Awards include a Sustainable Tech Company of the Year category sponsored by EY.

Not all of us will be carbon zero, or have a carbon capture system in place but some will. Across the country firms are putting in place innovative, tech-led measures to minimise, indeed reverse adverse effects on the natural world.

Even if your firm doesn’t have to state its green credentials to customers most will be part of a supply chain in which larger partners will have to do so.

The Business Magazine wishes to champion those at the vanguard of changing how we conduct business in this, the green age. In acknowledging those business leaders who are leading the way in this we hope to inspire further change.

The Thames Valley Tech Awards, Sustainable Tech Company of the Year award, sponsored by EY seeks to highlight those firms with impeccable ESG credentials.

Successful nominees will be able to demonstrate how this is contributing to the growing push for sustainable practices and business, while reducing the impact of business on the environment.

The Thames Valley Tech Awards, headline sponsored by Westcoast, will be held on 20 October 2022 at the Select Car Leasing Stadium (formerly Madejski Stadium) in Reading.
