Celebrating innovation in the Thames Valley

It is wonderful to be part of, and celebrate, the continued growth of the Thames Valley as a thriving business community. This year Nouveau Solutions is honoured to be supporting The Business Magazine’s Thames Valley 250 awards, writes Berni Maguire, Head of Marketing, Nouveau.

In particular, we have sponsored the special recognition category that acknowledges a business demonstrating great innovation and commitment to the Thames Valley; as well as significantly contributing to the local economy and wider community. All entrants are strong contenders and worthy to be winners.

The past year has seen all organisations and individuals going to extraordinary lengths to adapt to a rapid change in the way we work and live. The recent crisis has similarly highlighted both individual resilience and courage to overcome challenges, but also emphasised our ever-increasing reliance on technology underpinning our lives both at home and work.

As a specialist IT managed services company with a strategic focus on delivering cloud and cybersecurity solutions we have been able to play our part in delivering services and solutions, at speed and scale, that have supported our customers’ operational needs over this period. “The use of technology can also often underpin innovation and it’s encouraging to see so many organisations in the Thames Valley delivering a continuous stream of new innovation supported by continuous technological advancements,” said Mark Lloyd, Business Unit General Manager at Nouveau.

At Nouveau we have experienced first-hand the excitement and frequent challenges of driving growth to build our business over the last three decades. It is great to be part of a community that is driven by innovation, and recognises the value of technology, while striving for growth and success. At this extraordinary time in our lives it is amazing to be giving recognition, through this award, for the achievements in commitment to and in the Thames Valley community.

Innovation, community and of course technology has played a significant part in our journey. Technology is now considered the lifeblood at the beating heart of every organisation. No longer a ‘nice to have’, but essential and in many cases critical to every organisations’ operations.

In recent months we have seen a rapid escalation of investment in technology. This has been driven by a recognised need to accelerate digitisation in order to maintain operational resilience, support new ways of working, and provide the right operational outcomes to meet customer requirements. We also know that the need to make this change, at speed and on scale, has stretched many internal IT departments to their limits.

Mark Lloyd added: “We have and will continue to introduce technology that delivers benefits, results, and the right outcomes for our customers not just today but well into the future.

“Moving forward we will continue to deliver these innovative IT solutions underneath the banner of Axians Cloud & Cybersecurity, and the relationship between us as a service provider and our customers will now and always remain sacrosanct.”
