The promotions form part of the firm’s development and succession strategy, to ensure continuity, as the firm continues to grow, with increasing instructions of multi-million-pound corporate transactions and new clients, across all service areas.

Prentis joined Moorcrofts in 2013 and undertakes a range of corporate transactional and advisory work, focusing primarily on sales and acquisitions and corporate reorganisations, including share exchanges, hive ups, capital reductions, share repurchases and demergers. She also specialises in advising on corporate governance and compliance matters, including reporting requirements, company secretarial matters, shareholders’ agreements and share schemes. She works with some of the firm’s most prestigious clients.

Having joined Moorcrofts in 2019 from city firms, Forder has extensive experience across a large range of sectors, providing quality advice to clients ranging from SME’s to multi-national corporations. He is renowned for producing high-calibre work, offering sound, pragmatic advice whilst creating and nurturing strong, long-lasting client relationships. Forder specialises in share and asset acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, shareholder agreements, articles of association and advising on secured lending. He also has a breadth of experience advising clients on corporate reorganisations including share allotments, buybacks, cancellations, share capital reductions as well as share schemes.

In 2020-2021, Moorcrofts corporate team has advised on a number of high-level million-pound deals, including the acquisitions of Enable Business Solutions and Elevate Staffing Group and the merger of Electracom Projects and Trusol, and the sale of the MRIB group of companies.

As a technology-focussed firm, our whole team has shown impressive resilience, managing to adapt quickly to remote working and adopting new communication solutions, to be able to continue to provide an outstanding service to our clients and experience significant growth.

"Kate and Adam are both pivotal members of the team, demonstrating commitment, hard work and providing real value to our team and clients. Heather is an extremely talented young lawyer who demonstrates great diligence and promise. With a fantastic line-up of lawyers in place, we look forward to further growth and opportunities for all of us throughout 2021.”
