A new initiative, ConnectTVT, has launched with a mission to help promote and connect the Thames Valley’s growing technology scene.
ConnectTVT aims to make it easier for people interested in starting up, growing or joining a technology company to find information and make new connections across one of the UK’s largest tech regions.
ConnectTVT is being launched with a start-up showcase event at Green Park in Reading featuring a variety of new tech businesses from across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire and Buckinghamshire. The new initiative marks its launch with the introduction of a number of new resources for tech entrepreneurs in the region including:
“There has never been a more exciting time to start or join a tech business, and in the Thames Valley we have one of the strongest and most diverse tech communities in the UK," said Louize Clarke, co-founder of ConnectTVT. “ConnectTVT will shine a light on the great work and entrepreneurship that is happening across the region. What's more, it will actively help people to draw upon the vast expertise and resources on offer in the region, to find collaborators and make new connections.”
ConnectTVT is already working closely with partners such as Thames Valley Berkshire LEP, KPMG, Oxford Properties and Natwest bank to achieve this goal, and is keen to form close ties with other regional development agencies, technology businesses and investors across the region.
