Today, tech start-ups based in the Thames Valley and hoping for the chance to go to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, will pitch their business to a panel of experts.
The start-ups were successfully shortlisted from entrants across the south for the opportunity, which could be invaluable to their growth ambitions and will open doors that can be difficult for a small enterprise to achieve on their own.
Local businesses not in-line to pitch have been invited to the event at GROW@GreenPark for an opportunity to see the pitching take place and network with local experts from professional services firm KPMG.
Tom Fox, part of the high growth tech group at KPMG’s Reading office, said: “For companies that haven’t been shortlisted, the event will be a good opportunity to network, check out local competition, and get hints and tips about growing a tech business from myself and colleagues from KPMG.”
