Businesses can claim £3,000 towards the connection cost of Gigaclear's full-fibre service, the company has announced. The UK’s leading provider of full-fibre gigabit broadband to rural businesses and residents is aiming to make more companies aware that grants are available.

Gigaclear is dedicated to providing reliable, ultrafast, full-fibre broadband to homes and businesses in rural Britain. With many years’ experience it understands that rural businesses rely on high-speed broadband to remain competitive, innovative and efficient. With constant technological advances, a fast, reliable internet connection is an essential tool for a business to function and grow.

As the UK’s leading provider of full fibre gigabit broadband to rural businesses and residents, Gigaclear says it can help businesses 'go ultrafast' through the Government's new Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme.

The Scheme, designed to help small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) gain access to superfast gigabit internet connectivity, is part of the Local Full Fibre Networks Programme, (LFFN) and allows eligible businesses to claim up to £3,000 towards the connection cost of the full-fibre service.

With an ultrafast, full-fibre connection powering your business, you can transform your business and your competitiveness:

  • Upload and download super-sized files in a matter of seconds
  • Increase channels of communication and collaboration with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Take full advantage of cloud services to improve your efficiency
  • Gigaclear will do all the work for you and may even underwrite the upfront cost to help with your cashflow

Are you eligible?

The scheme is available for small to medium sized enterprises – defined as those that employ fewer than 250 people and have an annual turnover not exceeding £50 million, and/or an annual balance sheet total not exceeding £43m. This includes sole traders.

The vouchers are available to businesses individually and also can be aggregated for those on business parks and industrial estates.

Gigaclear provides competitively priced packages to suit every size of business and says it makes sure the switch-over is as quick and simple as possible, so businesses can be operate on ultrafast broadband with minimal disruption.
