Surrey Cyber Security Cluster to raise cyber threat awareness through Camberley event

Surrey Cyber Security Cluster (SCSC) are set to launch Red Team Thursday at the Login Lounge in Camberley.

The focus of the Red Team Thursday events is ‘attack’ and will take place on January 26 and will cover the state of the current cyber threat landscape and the techniques that cyber criminals are using.

Red Team Thursday is the first of six events that the SCSC has lined up. These events are designed to give professionals the chance to learn about the industry through guest speakers, cyber activities, and Q&A panels. The events also serve as a good chance to promote the industry.

The will be hosted by the SCSC director Steve Coburn and will include: a keynote address from the Head of Incident Response at BAE Andy Snowball, a cyber activity lead by Professor Ioana Boureanu, and a panel Q&A chaired by Professor Steve Schneider.
