Software services specialist Clearvision has been recognised by the Sunday Times as one of the UK’s best companies to work for.

Clearvision, which employees 60 people at its headquarters - Chalcroft Business Park, Southampton - has been placed in the prestigious Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2019. The index casts the spotlight on the chosen 100 companies with the highest scores in an independent and anonymous survey of staff across hundreds of companies in the UK, conducted by b-Heard.

The management team at Clearvision actively supports a positive culture with a generous benefits scheme, a programme of initiatives designed to foster team spirit and a successful and supportive environment.

A fully-funded and dedicated events team organises social nights out and quarterly lunches. An active charity fundraising and community support programme provides opportunities for staff to make a difference. This year’s activity included volunteering for a full day to support The Blue Cross Southampton Pet Rehoming Centre, just around the corner from the Clearvision office.

Staff enjoy a games room and stocked kitchen facilities, and the entire business is committed to staff development with regular and honest one-to-ones. The Clearvision 'Tours of Duty' ensure staff understand the bigger picture of the business and value the work of other teams.

Gerald Tombs, CEO at Clearvision, said: “At Clearvision we understand the critical role that our people play in our success. A fulfilled, challenged and nurtured team makes for a nurturing place to work, with high energy and commitment levels, superb customer service and heightened individual and team performance. We’re very proud that our investment in staff has been recognised with this national award.”

Clearvision provides consultancy, technical implementation, hosting and training in Atlassian software designed to deliver collaboration tools for software developers, empowering teams to reach full potential. The company also supplies expert Atlassian contractors through its ClearHub network of qualified engineers.

Jonathan Austin, founder and CEO of the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies scheme, said: “I would like to congratulate Clearvision on their achievement of a Two Star Accreditation status and being named as one of the UK’s Best Companies to Work for. Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace.

“We are proud that organisations like Clearvision focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that they’re a best company to work for.”
