An impressive list of finalists in the second annual South Coast Tech Awards showcases the region’s innovative technologies and forward-thinking entrepreneurial businesses.
The South Coast Tech Awards 2020 will be staged by The Business Magazine on October 7 as a virtual event. Television technology presenter Spencer Kelly will host the event from a studio in Southampton.
There will be opportunities for networking before the one-hour awards ceremony and audience participation during it. A Tweet Wall will run live throughout.
Peter Laurie, head of client relations at The Business Magazine, commented: “I chaired a very enjoyable and enthusiastic judging meeting for the South Coast Tech Awards. The judges interviewed the shortlisted companies and diligently assessed the strengths and potential of the contenders. The finalists range across the whole arena of tech – from start-ups and scale-ups to very well-established businesses. We look forward to an entertaining virtual event in October when winners will be announced.”
The headline sponsor for the awards is Spectrum IT. Other sponsors include BDB Pitmans, Blake Morgan, EY, Onecom, Smith & Williamson and the University of Southampton Science Park.
