Newbury-based UK intranet software provider, Sorce, has launched Juggl Desks – a cloud-based desk booking solution that helps organisations to manage a safe return to the workplace. Juggl is ideal for supporting hybrid working and is free to all organisations until 2022.

"Organisations of all sizes have to navigate the pandemic restrictions, and managing desk space safely and effectively is key to this," says John Nicklin, managing director of Sorce.

Juggl Desks allows staff to quickly and easily book a day in the office and be confident that they’ll have all the equipment and space they need. The employer also has a clear view of who is sitting where and when on any particular day so that the number of people in the office can be managed, and social distancing measures maintained. By having a holistic view of office occupancy, employers can more effectively reorganise office space or resize space as necessary.

With unlimited usage, Juggl Desks can be used by organisations of any size and can be accessed on desktops and all mobile devices, from anywhere and at any time. It has been designed to be very easy to set-up, use and administer with a simple, single interface and sign-in process. For office administrators, this means that they don’t need to access multiple calendars to manage and view desk and facilities bookings.

Nicklin says, "Juggl Desks is all about managing office space simply. We’ve worked hard to make it as user-friendly as possible, removing any barrier to usage. After all, we want as many organisations as possible to move to the Juggl platform to safely and efficiently facilitate hybrid working."

Juggl Desks can be set up for management of desks as well as car parking spaces across multiple locations and floors. When logging in, users can filter the options to a preferred office and desk location and can stipulate requirements such as disabled access, an electricity point, a network connection and a monitor, for example. The available desks matching the search criteria can then be booked. Users can even search for colleagues for when meetings need to be arranged.

Organisations can start using Juggl Desks on the website and have the option to provide a donation to a choice of four different charities as a 'thank you' for being able to access the software free-of-charge.

Nicklin adds, "By making Juggl Desks free until 2022, we’re playing our part in getting Britain moving again."
