British technology company and original producer of infrared textiles, Kymira, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Pitch@Palace initiative. Founded by the Duke of York, Pitch@Palace helps amplify the work of entrepreneurs and provides the opportunity to meet leading business professionals who can help accelerate their business.

In May, KYMIRA is set to attend the boot-camp stage, where 42 finalists will receive specialist mentoring from industry experts before the final pitch in June.

Following boot camp, the finalists will descend on St. James’s Palace, where they will pitch to an influential audience including potential investors, CEOs, mentors and business partners. Although the audience will select one overall winner, each company involved will benefit from the business exposure and connections the initiative offers.

With thousands of applications received each year, those who are shortlisted to attend the final pitch at St James’s Palace are considered the elite and, therefore, will remain within the Pitch@Palace constellation for future support and development.

Tim Brownstone, CEO and founder of KYMIRA, said: “This is such an exciting opportunity for the KYMIRA team as it opens a whole host of doors for us. Ventures such as this really help place start-ups on the ‘business map’ so I’m honoured to have been shortlisted to take part.”
