Reading: PwC opens creative space for tech businesses

PwC’s Reading office has launched an interactive ‘Frontier’ technology hub.

The Frontier hub is a tech-enabled, creative space allowing local businesses, clients and staff the opportunity to collaborate and experience the power of technology.

The official opening took place this week at a launch event celebrated with more than 100 clients and staff. The event centred on disruptive technologies, providing guests with experiential opportunities in virtual reality and escape room technology.

It’s the first Frontier investment made by PwC in the regions, and with more than 10,000 staff members now based outside London, there is a significant commitment to expanding regional offices.

The Thames Valley is home to some of the largest technology companies in the UK, making it an attractive location to invest in tech growth. Reading has consistently ranked in the top two of the Demos-PwC’s Good Growth for Cities report, and PwC is supporting the growth agenda for the region.

PwC has also continued to invest in its Reading-based team, with four new equity partners joining the team this summer.
