Telecom specialist services company Indigo Telecom Group, has signed an agreement to supply Huawei, a leading global ICT solutions provider, with professional support services at the Huawei Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) in Reading.
The deal, which will run for 12 months, is the end result of a tender process that gave Indigo the opportunity to demonstrate its expertise in network, monitoring, maintenance and support. Indigo will supply first-line support to Huawei’s network customers with onsite personnel based at Huawei’s TAC as well as additional services including network management and overflow support, emergency and major event cover.
Stephen Thompson, CEO at Indigo, said: “This is a significant win for Indigo and demonstrates that we can deliver best-in-class network monitoring, maintenance and support. We are focused on providing added value to our clients and will be supplying Huawei with additional overflow capacity through the Indigo Network Operation Centre and a scalable service that will support their growth in the UK market.”
