Reading: FISCAL Technologies awarded Queen’s Award for innovation
FISCAL Technologies, the Berkshire-based, world-leading provider of accounts-payable forensic software, has been awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Innovation.
FISCAL was selected for its innovative cloud-based “AP Forensics suite” which empowers finance professionals across the globe to detect fraud, high-risk transactions and payment hazards before they occur. The suite does this through continuous monitoring, and it then identifies areas of concern in which the relevant business processes can be improved.
David Griffiths, chief executive of FISCAL, said: “This is a tremendous achievement for us, as we have grown rapidly from modest means into a global software company. We have achieved this by assembling a talented team of motivated professionals who truly care about our customers and put their needs at the heart of everything we do.”
Howard Durdle, FISCAL’s chief technology officer, commented: “Our technology has been developed by building a first-class in-house development team – people who are agile and truly listen to the customer.”
The Queen’s Award is the UK's most prestigious business accolade and is open to businesses which have shown outstanding achievement in innovation, evidence of international trade and sustainable development. The awards are the highest official UK awards for British businesses and are made on recommendation from the prime minister’s advisory committee.
