Ed Vaizey MP has been working with MEPC Milton Park and the Didcot Job Centre Plus team to set up a job fair at Milton Park to help his constituents find jobs in the buoyant employment market in the local area.
So far 12 companies have confirmed attendance including: Asda, Sainsbury's, Freedom Care, The Army, Soll Leisure, and agencies Recruitment Solutions, and Hays.
The job fair will take place on Friday November 14, 2014, from 10am to 2pm at the Innovation Centre at Milton Park and will give local employers and job seekers the opportunity to meet.
In the past year, Milton Park which is in the Government’s Science Vale UK Enterprise Zone, has seen job numbers significantly increase across its 200 companies based on the park, an indication of an improving Oxfordshire and national economy.
On the day, Vaizey will be announcing the increase in job numbers at Milton Park. He will also meet with four of the Milton Park-based companies, from biotechnology companies to house builders, which have seen increases in staff numbers.
