Oxford Quantum Circuits named one of the World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneers of 2022
Oxford Quantum Circuits has been named one of the World Economic Forum's Technology Pioneers of 2022.
Oxford Quantum Circuits is the company behind the UK’s first superconducting quantum computer, and Europe's first commercially available Quantum Computing-as-a-Service built entirely using its proprietary technology.
On May 10 the reading-based company became on of 100 of the World Economic Forum's 2022 Technology Pioneers, which celebrates companies at the forefront of their industries around the world.
Alumni include many household names, such as Airbnb, Google, Kickstarter, Mozilla, Spotify, TransferWise, Twitter, and Wikimedia.
The World Economic Forum said: "OQC is bringing the power of quantum to its customers' fingertips to solve some of the world's most challenging problems: from life-changing drug discoveries to unbreakable cryptography, from portfolio optimisations to modelling solutions to feeding a rapidly growing population."
