Oxford firm secure place on Geovation start up support programme
An Oxford start up firm who specialise in military specification security systems has been awarded a place on an Ordnance Survey supported Accelerator Program run by Geovation.
The company, Archangel Imaging, is one of six Geospatial data or Property Tech companies to be welcomed onto the prestigious programme. The aim of the project is to propel start-ups to the next level, with the programme tailored to suit each start-up and their individual founders.
The other start ups to join Archangel as cohorts on the course are Honeycomb Network, Soil Benchmark, Pluto, Zero Down Lease and Collaborative Conveyancing.
The year long project is funded by HM Land Registry includes a bespoke package of financial support, worth over £100k per start-up, equity-free grant funding, a 12-month residency in the data hub (6 months of which includes intensive support from industry experts), workshops, coaching and access to cutting edge data from OS and HMLR.
In the three years since the Geovation Hub opened, businesses that have entered its Programme have so far raised £19.5m in investment funding and created 189 new jobs.
