New CEO for Oxfordshire’s Physiomics in leadership shakeup
Oxfordshire-based oncology consultancy Physiomics has announced a change to its board of directors.
Dr Jim Millen has been appointed as non-executive chairman, while current COO Dr Peter Sargent is set to step up as CEO. He’s also been made a director.
Just five months into his tenure at Physiomics, Dr Sargent has ‘quickly proved invaluable’ to the company in driving its business development agenda and developing an overall strategy.
He said: “I’m thrilled to take on the role of CEO and director of Physiomics.

“Having had time to get to know the business and meet many of our clients and partners over these last few months, I can see many exciting opportunities ahead for us.”
Meanwhile, Dr Millen will remain closely involved in his new role and is set to offer continued support to the executive team throughout the transition and beyond.
This completes a leadership restructuring at Physiomics which began in early 2022 with the appointment of another two non-executive directors.
Dr Millen added: “Since joining the company last September, Pete has demonstrated to me and the board that he has the skills, experience, attitude and vision to help us achieve our strategic goals.
“I look forward with optimism to what we can achieve under Peter’s executive leadership and to continuing to work closely with him in our new roles.”
Dr Millen and Dr Sargent will provide an update to shareholders at a meeting on 29th January.
