Agilyx Group, a leading global change-ready technology services organisation and Unit4 Software specialist, has signed an agreement to acquire Maidenhead-based business and technology consultancy Williams Woodward.

The new company, to be known as Agilyx UK, expands the Agilyx Group’s reach to the UK and Ireland markets, following expansions in North America (2016) and Asia (2017), adding to the founding core markets of Australia and New Zealand.

Following completion of the acquisition, approximately 25 of Williams Woodward’s skilled professionals are expected to join the Agilyx Group UK business. Williams Woodward’s consulting workforce is based in the UK, Africa and Asia.

The acquisition will expand Agilyx Group to a team of 120 professionals in 7 countries, with capabilities in delivering strategy, services, software implementation and program management for Unit4 customers. With pioneering strategic thinking around key industry services such as project management, ERP implementations, digital transformation and next generation cloud technology, the Williams Woodward business was described as 'a perfect fit' for the Agilyx Group.

Agilyx Group CEO John Catarinich said: “I am delighted to announce our acquisition of Williams Woodward. With a more than 10-year history delivering unrivalled knowledge and expertise to their customers in the United Kingdom, Ireland and South Africa, the firm has dedicated itself to helping customers execute transformational change in their businesses using agile technologies. Williams Woodward places primacy on expertise, quality and sustainability in their work to design, implement and optimise new technology and business systems in several key markets. I am excited that we can bring this pedigree to the Agilyx Group in another exciting development for our company.”

Williams Woodward managing director Andrea Williams added: “I am looking forward to becoming a part of the Agilyx Group. The whole Williams Woodward team is very excited by the prospect of joining a successful and professional organisation that has such great vision, shared values and a brilliant team. The Group’s scale and broad service offer provides many new opportunities for our customers in the UK and elsewhere.”
